Searching the Ag & Life Sciences Literature with CAB Abstracts
Whether you're writing your literature review, conducting a systematic review or just keeping up with the research, being able to effectively search the literature is critical. In this workshop we will dig into CAB Abstracts (Ovid), one of the most comprehensive agricultural and biological sciences databases available - exploring the resources indexed in CAB, scoping out a research topic, using Boolean operators to build a search string, employing the CABI thesaurus to identify subject headings, refining our search with filters, as well as exploring options for saving, sharing and exporting your search results to a reference manager.
