Data Science & Collaboration with Google Colab Online

A big component of data science – analysis, sharing, etc. – involves collaboration. Utilizing Google Apps and Jupyter Notebook, an open-source interactive computing platform, Google Colab can support the collaboration and sharing of data for projects. Learn what Google Colab is, how to use Google Colab for interactive computation, and suggestions for keeping your data safe in Colab.

Audience: This intermediate workshop is geared towards students, faculty, and staff looking for a free, low barrier to entry way of collaborating with others in data analysis. Some experience with Jupyter Notebook, as well as basic knowledge of Python, is helpful.
