Meet the Trees of Brazos Valley
Trees are a vital component in the answer to issues cities face, including: energy use, flooding, water scarcity, human health, student engagement and performance, and even crime.
Texas A&M Forest Service's Urban & Community Forestry Program will lead today's program, sharing the work they do in Brazos Valley and state wide to educate and protect the state's urban forests. We will explore why this work is important, how we can each play a role, and the various species we see across the Brazos Valley. You are welcome to bring your questions, as well.
If you need accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to be able to participate in this event, please contact Heather Adair (heather.adair@tamu.edu) to communicate your needs at least 5 business days prior to allow us to facilitate a reasonable accommodation.
