Webinar: OAKFund and OAKTrust

Webinar: OAKFund and OAKTrust

This webinar will cover two open access resources provided to the Texas A&M University community by the Office of Scholarly Communications at the University Libraries.

The Open Access to Knowledge Fund (OAKFund) helps faculty and full-time research staff pay fees associated with publishing in peer-reviewed open access venues. We will introduce OAKFund, describe eligibility criteria, and go over the application process.

OAKTrust is Texas A&M University's institutional repository, where faculty can submit their work to be preserved and openly distributed by the Libraries. Research groups, labs, centers, and departments can also create collections in OAKTrust to store and provide access to their outputs. We will go over the benefits of using OAKTrust for individuals and larger groups and the faculty submission process.
