EndNote Basics (In-person: Kingsville)
EndNote is downloadable software that helps you to gather and organize your citations. It then creates the in-text citations and reference list for you within Word. Click here to learn more about getting the software.
By the end of the class, participants will be able to:
- Summarize what EndNote is and how it can assist with organizing and creating citations.
- Create an EndNote library and add citations manually and through searching databases.
- Find full-text or attach PDF’s for citations within EndNote.
- Manage an EndNote library by creating groups and clearing journal term lists.
- Use EndNote’s CiteWhileYouWrite tab within Word to insert in-text citations, edit them, and change citation styles.
