Publishing a scholarly article

How does your research get published? In this workshop, we’ll explore the process that an article goes through from production to publication.

By the end of the class, participants will be able to:

Identify 5 criteria to consider when selecting a journal to publish in;
Explain the steps involved in getting a scholarly article published; and
Understand how to format an article to a journal’s specifications and other “housekeeping” associated with the submission process
